Opening of the 14th edition of InnoTrans in Berlin, with the participation of ONCF

The opening session saw the participation of the Director General of ONCF, Mohamed Rabie Khlie, who leads a large delegation to this international exhibition, alongside the Federal Minister of Digital Affairs and Transport, Volker Wissing, the CEO of the German railway company (Deutsche Bahn), Richard Lutz, and the CEO of the Spanish railway manufacturer “CAF”, Javier Martinez Ojinaga, in the presence of the Ambassador of Morocco to Germany, Ms. Zohour Alaoui.

Morocco is represented at this biennial exhibition by two stands, that of the ONCF and the Moroccan Railway Industrial Cluster (MTI Cluster), which brings together several Moroccan and foreign companies active in the national railway ecosystem.

InnoTrans 2024 takes place from September 24 to 27 and welcomes 2,940 exhibitors from 59 countries, who will present 226 global innovations on an exhibition area of ​​200,000 square meters.

With 42 halls and extensive outdoor areas, InnoTrans 2024 is structured into several segments covering railway technology, railway infrastructure, public transport, vehicle interior design and tunnel construction.

One of the highlights of the show is the outdoor area, equipped with 3,500 meters of railway tracks, where high-speed trains, tanker cars and other railway vehicles will be exhibited.

The new “AI Mobility Lab” exhibition area is also positioned as a must-see at this edition, and presents innovative solutions that focus on artificial intelligence (AI) in the mobility sector.

Alongside the show, the “InnoTrans Convention” offers a programme rich in debates and conferences, dealing in particular with the future of transport and mobility in the world.

Under the theme “The mobility of tomorrow”, this edition highlights digitalization, sustainability and the growing importance of artificial intelligence (AI) in the fields of mobility.

As the world’s leading trade fair for transport technology, InnoTrans 2024 also supports young talent from around the world, with awards from national and international associations for outstanding achievements and ideas. It promotes encounters between exhibiting companies and young students or graduates, offering them opportunities for exchange and collaboration in different sectors.

At the previous edition in 2022, InnoTrans welcomed 2,771 exhibitors from 56 countries, who presented their products and services to 132,319 professional visitors from 137 countries.
