The network reported that 25 people were killed in Tennessee, and at least 16 people in Oregon, 3 of whom were killed when a tree fell on their car.

Deaths have also been reported in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Mississippi, Washington, Kentucky, Wisconsin, New York and New Jersey.

On the West Coast, Oregon remains in a state of emergency after deadly ice storms swept through the region, leaving more than 45,000 people without power, and other power outages were reported in Pennsylvania, California, New Mexico and Indiana.
