The Iraqi Artists Syndicate mourned the death of the great artist Sami Naseem, a member of the Syndicate’s Central Council.

The Syndicate stated in a statement received by the (INA), “With great sadness and sorrow, the Iraqi Artists Syndicate mourns the great artist Sami Naseem, a member of the Central Council of the Syndicate, who passed away today due to a terminal illness. We ask God Almighty to have mercy on him and to inspire his family, loved ones and colleagues with patience and solace. To God we belong and to Him we shall return.”
It is worth noting that the great artist Sami Naseem Sami is an Iraqi oud player. He is the founder and president of the “Baghdad Oud Band” since 2013, and the director of the “Iraqi Oud House and Musical Instruments Manufacturing Workshop”. He was elected a member of the Central Council of the Iraqi Artists Syndicate in the current session. He won the state’s Creativity Award twice and participated in many festivals. He presented a career worthy of the reputation of art. He passed away to his final home after a long struggle with illness, leaving his works to immortalize him.
