The manager was impressed with the improvements implemented since the last time he was at the black and white training center.

“Atlético’s structure is spectacular. We have the opportunity to visit several training centers around the country and here we see an investment that deserves to be praised. I already knew about it, but with each passing day there are improvements. In addition, it has competent and qualified professionals to train quality players for the club and, of course, for the Brazilian national team as well,” stated.

Four-time world champion with the Brazilian national football team in 1994, the former left-back also made a point of praising Galo’s management.

“I want to congratulate the management team, as well as president Sérgio Coelho. Atlético is a giant, historic team. People come here and are happy. First, because of the structure. Then, because I have several friends, people I worked with, like Everton Nogueira and Éder Aleixo. And there is Damiani, a great friend and brother. And, coincidentally, the two Olympic victories that Brazil has, one he won, here in Brazil, and the other I was present, in Tokyo”, recalled the leader.

Erasmo Damiani highlighted the importance of receiving Branco’s visit to Cidade do Galo.

“This relationship between the CBF and the clubs is fundamental. It is through this that we can strengthen and improve the relationship, there is a closer conversation on these occasions”, said the general manager of the Atlético base.

Branco remains in Belo Horizonte and will watch Atlético’s debut in the Brazilian Aspirants Championship, this Wednesday (25), at 3:30 pm, at the Alterosas Stadium, at Sesc Venda Nova, against Vitória-BA.
