The incident occurred this afternoon. Sunday, September 22 in a mechanical workshop that serves as a building for a Christian church located at the intersection of the Francisco Beltran streets y New Rosaliathis in the Argentine colonyin Monterrey, New Leon.

According to initial reports, two vans allegedly arrived at the scene and armed men got out of them, broke into the building and fired at least 8 shots, leaving a man and a woman dead with gunshot wounds.
The possible victim is identified as Issschar Martinez of approximately 39 years old whose body -according to local reports- was found inside the premises.
The wounded woman – called Saint Joan and alleged wife of the victim – was injured in the left forearm and was given medical attention by the paramedics who arrived at the area, but she was transferred to a nearby hospital.
News reports say that both people remained inside the church after performing Christian worship, so there were no other people present at the time of the armed attack.
