jpnn.comJAKARTA – The 2024 Hajj Inquiry Special Committee (Pansus) held an internal meeting at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday (24) to discuss the conclusions from the work of the Council’s Supporting Equipment (AKD).

Special Committee member Marwan Jafar said that the 2019-2024 DPR will hold a Plenary Meeting on Thursday (26/9).

According to him, the Special Committee in the next two days starting Tuesday will hold an internal meeting to discuss the work conclusions.

“The focus of the discussion is on conclusions and recommendations,” said the PKB Faction legislator when met by media crew at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday.

Marwan said the Special Committee was racing against time to complete their work conclusions. Because, the conclusions will be delivered in the Plenary Meeting on Thursday.

“On the 26th (September, ed.) we have to finalize the results of the Special Committee,” said the former Minister of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration (Mendes PDTT).

Marwan said the Special Committee no longer plans to hold an open meeting by summoning certain parties until Thursday to investigate the problems when the government carries out the 2024 Hajj.

“That’s it, we haven’t summoned anyone related to this, this is over,” said the alumnus of the Islamic University of Indonesia Yogyakarta.
