Now Tamil film director Mohan ji said some such things about the Prasad of another temple ‘Palani’ in Tamil Nadu, after which he has been directly arrested. Popular Tamil film director Mohan ji was talking on a YouTube channel about the issue of fat in the laddu of Tirupati Balaji temple. During this, Mohan ji claimed that in the ‘Palani’ temple, a medicine that makes men impotent is mixed in the Panchamrit. Mohan ji has made films like ‘Draupadi’, ‘Rudratandavam’ and ‘Bagasuran’ and was talking about the Prasad of Tirupati on a channel. Meanwhile, he said that similar incidents have happened in other temples of Tamil Nadu as well. In his statement, he said that once, a medicine which would make men impotent was mixed in the Panchamritam of Palani temple and this news was hidden.

Mohan ji while talking on YouTube said, ‘I had heard that a drug that causes impotence in men was mixed in Panchamritam. However, this news was hidden. Although, we should not talk without proof, but no clear clarification was given in this matter and some temple employees had said that contraceptive pills were an attack on Hindus.’
Said- an attempt to tarnish the image of the temple
Tamil Nadu’s Hindu Religious and Charitable System Minister Shekhar Babu was furious at Mohanji’s statement. He termed these allegations as false and warned that strict action will be taken against anyone who spreads such false news. He called Mohanji’s statement an attempt to tarnish the image of the temple and said that the government will not tolerate any wrong information in this matter.
Accused of hurting religious sentiments and spreading false information
After this controversial statement, the Cyber Crime Cell of Trichy Police arrested Mohan Ji on Tuesday (24 September 2024). He was accused of hurting religious sentiments and spreading false information. However, BJP leader Aswathaman called Mohan Ji’s arrest unconstitutional and criticized the government. He said that Mohan Ji’s family was not given any official information about his arrest and it is against the orders of the Supreme Court.
Pawan Kalyan and Prakash Raj clashed over Tirupati temple Prasad issue
At this time, amid the uproar over fat in the Tirupati temple prasad, Pawan Kalyan had said that he is very sad about it. He had said that now it seems that perhaps there should be a Sanatan Dharma Raksha Board at the national level, so that it can keep an eye on issues related to temples across the country. Taking a dig at these words of Pawan Kalyan, Prakash Raj had said- Dear Pawan Kalyan, this incident has happened in the state where you are the Deputy CM. Please investigate. Find the culprits and take strict action. Pawan Kalyan also responded to this and said- Why should I not speak? Should I not speak when my house is attacked?
