The population supports the launch of agricultural markets at fair prices, a government measure implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG) that brings benefits to Salvadorans, since, in addition to providing fresh and good quality products, it favors the family economy with its low prices.
Salvadorans emphasize that this is a good measure by the Government and that it should be maintained. “From the moment I found out about the AgroMercados, I have not stopped coming. I come every day to see what’s new,” said Gloria Hernández.
This initiative is increasingly being extended nationwide to benefit more Salvadorans, so there are now 50 points where the offer and service have been improved. One of the main attractions of these points of sale, distributed in the 14 departments of the country, is the fair price of the different products, since with little money you can obtain many products for consumption over several days.
Martín Quintanilla called on people to take advantage of the benefits of agricultural markets. “I invite people to come by, with $10 they can make a good purchase and leave very happy with the product they have. The good thing is that they serve from 6:00 in the morning to 1:00 in the afternoon.”
