Temporary Closure of A21 Child Benefit Portal Aimed at Streamlining Fourth Payment Process

by time news
The Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family and the supervised Organization of Benefits and Social Solidarity (OPEKA) recently announced that the electronic platform A21-Child Benefit has been closed.

As stated by OPEKA, the ability to submit and process applications will not be available from September 11, 2024, at 18:00 and for a few days. The reason the platform is closed is to facilitate the payment of the fourth installment of the child benefit.

After the completion of the payment for the 4th installment of the child benefit, the application will be available again for the submission and processing of applications from September 30, 2024, at 8:00.

In the A21 application for the child benefit, the following must be registered in the relevant fields:

-the details of the School Unit,
-the class and the Registration Number of the child attending compulsory education.

Close

The application can proceed normally, provided that all the details of the student are verified. If they are not verified, a relevant notice will appear, and the applicant will be asked to attach the necessary documentation to the electronic A21 application.

Payment dates

-The fourth installment of the Child Benefit A21 will be paid on Monday, September 30

-The fifth installment will be credited to the beneficiaries’ accounts on Friday, November 29, 2024
-The sixth installment will traditionally be paid before Christmas, specifically between December 20 and 23.
