Bobby Hajjaz, Chairman of the Nationalist Democratic Movement, has commented that delaying the formation of charges against Sheikh Hasina and the Awami League by the state initiative is short-sightedness of the interim government.

He said, ‘Hasina, the fallen autocrat and her army of thugs and murderers are drunk on revenge. We think that it is a short-sighted decision of the current government not to bring charges of genocide against them as a state initiative.’

Bobby Hajjaz said these things in a protest rally organized by NDM in front of National Press Club on Tuesday.

He said, ‘There is no opportunity to remain silent about Hasina. As per the extradition treaty with India, he must be returned immediately. Fascist Hasina must be tried at the International Criminal Tribunal.

Welcoming the initiative of the tribunal to amend the law, Bobby Hajjaz said, “According to the amended law, Awami League and the 14 parties and the Jatiya Party must be tried for genocide and disappearances for empowering the party to commit genocide.”

He said, ‘Controversy should be avoided by including experts and learned scholars in the curriculum revision committee.’

Bobby Hajjaz said, ‘Because the previous Awami fascist government played the role of a sportsman’s government of India, there has been an alarming incident of killing Bangladeshis at the border in the last 15 and a half years. Killing of Kishori Felani to Swarna Das or Jayant Kumar by BSF is an attack on our sovereignty. According to the information of various human rights organizations, more than six hundred Bangladeshis have been killed by the Indian BSF at this time. However, the various oblique comments of the Defense Minister of India or the top leaders of the ruling BJP are disgraceful for us.

Bobby Hajjaz said, ‘Fascist Hasina has had a relationship with India for so long. We want to warn the Indian government that if the border killings are not stopped, your relations with Bangladesh will never be happy. The current government must ensure that Bangladesh has a relationship with India from now on.’

NDM Secretary General Mominul Amin said, “As a first step to recover the amount of money they have smuggled and looted from banks and capital markets, the immovable and immovable properties of the entrepreneurs and family members of these business groups should be confiscated in favor of the state. ‘

Principal Abdul Hadi, Ezanur Rahman, Advocate Noor Ullah, Student Movement President Masud Rana Jewel and others spoke. Party secretary Jabedur Rahman Johnny was in charge.
