Today, Sunday, Al-Minaa team achieved an important victory over its counterpart Al-Hudood, with two goals to one, in the match that took place between them at Al-Fayhaa Stadium, in the first round of the Professional Stars League for the current season (2024-2025).
The correspondent of the (INA) stated that “the Minaa team took the lead first through Al-Hudood player Hussein Jabbar in the (20) minute by mistake in his own goal, and player Sumer Majed added the second goal in the (50) minute with a powerful shot that entered Al-Hudood’s net.”
He added, “Player Athir Saleh reduced the difference by scoring Al-Hudood’s first goal from a free kick that hit player (Raul Parra) and entered the net in the (53) minute.”
He explained, “The second match between Al-Qasim team and its counterpart, Maysan Oil, ended with Maysan Oil winning by two goals to one. (Ali Latif) scored the first goal for Maysan Oil in the (71) minute of the match, and the player (Pierre Jean Marie) scored the equalizer for Al-Qasim team in the (87) minute via a penalty kick, while the player (Ali Kuti) strengthened Maysan Oil’s lead by scoring the second goal in the (90+1) minute.”
