On September 25, Italgas maintained the wall and the plaque in memory of Rosario Berardi, who fell for democracy.
The project for the former Italgas headquarters is extensive, it will redevelop the area adjacent to the Luigi Einaudi Campus on Corso Regina Margherita, but it included the demolition of the wall and consequently the moving of the plaque placed in memory of the policeman Berardi.
His son Giovanni, together with Circoscrizione 7 and especially thanks to the help of the Moderati councilor D’Apice, asked Italgas to make this place a real piece of our country’s history. And so it was, declares the leader of the Moderati group in the Municipality of Turin, Simone Fissolo: “Today we honored the memory of Berardi and all the victims of Red Brigades terrorism. By restoring the plaque to Berardi and above all by making this place an indelible place in our memories”.
