The Kims Family has arrived in Taean! The noisy Korean adaptation period episode will air on EBS 1TV on Wednesday, September 25th at 9:55 PM.
In the first part of the EBS global grandparent empathy reality program UK that aired on the 18th, grandchildren living in the modest coastal town of Folkestone, England, appeared and garnered much attention.
Through the lives of four people – Yuna (5 years old), a curious girl who is curious about many things in the world; Sena (20 months old), a mukbang girl who just wants to eat anything; Kim Jung-mi (37 years old), a Korean mother who was a hair designer but is now focusing on raising her children; and Samuel James Kim (31 years old), a British father with an impressive fluent Korean – we took a peek into the daily lives of a family that is “sometimes difficult but often happy.”
The second part of the UK episode, which will air on September 25th, will reveal not only the daily life in the UK, such as the London outing, but also the bustling life in Korea of grandfather Kim Jin-woo (73 years old), grandmother Lee Geum-soon (71 years old) and her British family.

A trip to London with the whole family, the goal is Big Ben!
During Yuna’s vacation, her mother wanted to give her various experiences, so today’s plan was to ‘cook Korean food’. Today is finally the day to go to Korea! Mom, Yuna, and Sena, as well as Dad, who is visiting Korea for the first time in a long time, are extremely excited. However, the excitement is short-lived, and an incident occurs that makes Dad’s face turn dark(?). The neck pillow he bought at the airport disappears without a trace. It turns out that the culprit is the second daughter, Sena… What on earth happened?
Yuna’s family arrived in Korea after many twists and turns. Yuna’s face is filled with smiles when she sees her grandparents who came to pick her up late at night. They drove back from the airport and arrived at her grandparents’ house in Taean at 1 AM. Mom and Dad are exhausted and want to go to bed quickly, but the kids are hungry and want to eat, and they don’t seem to want to sleep at all, saying they want to play with their grandparents more… Will Yuna and Sena be able to sleep safely?

Finally, the first day in Taean! After eating the lunch prepared with care by her grandmother, Yuna runs to her dog Typhoon’s house with a face full of joy. However, at her grandmother’s suggestion to name the rabbit, Yuna gives it the pretty name ‘Kkotsooni’, but in the end, the rabbit’s name ended up being ‘Tosuni’. What is the reason for this?

One lazy afternoon, Grandpa calls Dad Sam and brings out something. It’s none other than Hwatu cards! Grandpa, who usually loves ‘Go-Stop’, joked before Mom Jeong-mi got married, “If Sam beats me at Hwatu, I’ll let you two have it.” However, Dad Sam was inspired by those words and started practicing Hwatu, and now he’s quite good at it. However, shocking news flies in to Yuna, who is in a good mood! “Mom and Dad won’t be here tomorrow. Yuna has to take good care of Sena too.” Yuna, who has been in a good mood since coming to Korea, can’t hide her bewilderment at this news… Yuna even sheds tears! Will she be able to successfully complete the time she has to spend with her grandparents without her mom and dad?
