The International Cricket Council (ICC) yesterday released a new ranking list of players for the T20 tournament.
In the batsmen’s rankings, Indian batsman Shreyas Iyer has moved up 27 places to be ranked 18th. He has improved in the rankings as he has scored fifty in all 3 matches in the recent series against Sri Lanka.
Former India captain Virat Kohli has suffered a setback in the T20 rankings. He dropped 5 places to 15th. Similarly, India’s Lokesh Rahul dropped 4 places to 10th.
Rohit Sharma is in 13th position. Pakistan captain Babur Assam continues to top the list. In the list of bowlers, Indian fast bowler Bhuvneshkumar moved up three places to 17th position.
