The IDF has revealed new details about the successful strike that killed the missile system commander Ibrahim Kabisi, who, according to IDF officials, had been directing the shelling of Israeli areas, including Haifa, in recent days.
According to a statement from the army press service, at least two of Kabisi’s deputies were killed along with him. These commanders also took an active part in planning and carrying out the recent attacks on Israel.
The IDF released a video of the strike that killed Kabisi, as well as footage from Operation Northern Arrows, which showed secondary explosions inside the house, indicating the presence of ammunition, and the destruction of a truck carrying a rocket launcher used to launch the attacks.

On September 24, the IDF announced the elimination of one of the key commanders of Hezbollah’s rocket unit, Ibrahim Muhammad Kabisi. According to the military, Kabisi was killed in an airstrike in the Dahiya area of Beirut. Other high-ranking members of the organization were with him during the attack.
Kabisi held a key position in Hezbollah’s missile operations, heading units responsible for precision missiles. For many years, including periods of active hostilities, he led strikes on Israeli territory. Kabisi was considered an important expert in missile technology and maintained close ties with Hezbollah’s military leadership.
Kabisi joined Hezbollah in the 1980s and held significant military positions, including commanding the operational headquarters in southern Lebanon and the Badr unit on the southern front. His responsibilities included planning and executing numerous attacks on Israeli forces and civilians.
