Football Association announces the start of the Women’s Futsal League competitions tomorrow, Monday

The Iraqi Football Association announced today, Sunday, the start of the Women’s Futsal League competitions for the 2024-2025 season tomorrow, Monday, with three matches for the first round.

The media office of the federation stated in a statement received by the (INA), that “the technical conference for the women’s futsal league was held in the presence of the member of the executive office of the Iraqi Football Association, supervisor of the women’s committee (Rasha Talib) and head of the women’s committee (Nebras Kamel), in addition to the members of the committee, representatives of the competitions committee and the seven participating clubs,” noting that “the clubs participating in the conference are Alton Kopri, Al-Zawraa, Fatat Nineveh, Maysan Oil, Baladi, Al-Amwaj Al-Mawsili, in addition to the Bint Iraq Academy.”
He added, “The competitions, which are held in a single-stage general league format, will start tomorrow, Monday, in the closed Army Sports Club Hall, with three matches for the first round,” stressing that “Al-Amwaj and Baladi teams will meet at 9:30 in the morning, followed by a match between Al-Zawraa and Nineveh Girls teams at 11:00 in the morning.”
The statement pointed out that “the first round matches will conclude with a match between the Bint Iraq Academy and Alton Kopri teams, at one o’clock in the afternoon, while the Maysan Oil team will be waiting.”
