(24News) Israel continues to rain missiles on Lebanon, the number of martyrs in Israel’s barbaric attacks on Lebanon has reached 570 while 1800 have been injured.
In the latest Israeli attack on Beirut, Hezbollah’s main commander Ibrahim Qubaisi was martyred. Hundreds of Lebanese citizens entered Syria to save their lives. Educational institutions in Lebanon have been closed for a week due to Israeli attacks.
In retaliation by Hezbollah, more than 300 rockets were fired at Israel, in which Hezbollah claimed to hit several Israeli military targets.
On the other hand, Pakistan strongly condemned Israel’s barbaric actions on Lebanon and appealed to the international community to hold Israel accountable immediately, where hundreds of people have been martyred so far in fresh attacks.
In a statement issued by Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, it has been said that Pakistan has condemned in the strongest terms Israel’s latest aggression against Lebanon in which hundreds of innocent civilians were massacred.
He said that this aggression against Lebanon is a grave violation of the UN Charter and international law, a dangerous act that further endangers peace and security in an already unstable region.
Spokesperson of the Foreign Office Kamzeid said that Pakistan reiterates its full support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Lebanon and expresses full solidarity with the people of Lebanon. We stand firmly for Lebanon’s right to peace and security.
He said that we appeal to the international community to immediately hold Israel accountable for its dangerous adventures in the region and its acts of aggression and genocide.
