In this sense, he recalled Morocco’s firm commitment, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in favor of sustainable development in Africa, materializing through structuring projects and ambitious strategies, recalling the Atlantic Initiative launched by His Majesty the King, which aims to achieve African economic integration and enable many countries on the continent to have ports on the sea, with basic strategic and structural equipment.
Welcoming the Kingdom’s achievements in the field of energy produced from solar and wind sources, Mr. Talbi El Alami shed light on the projects completed in the different regions of the Kingdom and which demonstrate the commitment to the fight against the causes of climate imbalances.
He further called on multi-party parliamentary organisations to work to facilitate the transfer of technologies used in the field of green economy, capital and investments and to seek to integrate them into national industries.
Initiated by the Chamber of Advisors and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (APM), under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, this Forum represents an ideal opportunity for parliamentarians and founding partners of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean to interact with political and economic actors from the public and private sectors, as well as with academia and civil society.
