According to information published by the American website “Axios”, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah asked Iran to attack Israel.

The Telegram channel “Alexey Zheleznov” writes about this.

However, despite this appeal, Tehran decided not to intervene. Sources say Iran has rejected Nasrallah’s offer.

Let us recall that, according to media reports, after the IDF attacks, Nasrallah found himself in a difficult situation.

The elimination of key figures such as Ibrahim Aqil and the wounding of Ali Karachi, who is in charge of Hezbollah’s southern front, has left Nasrallah almost alone, relying on less experienced and well-known field commanders. The only senior commander left at his side, Talal Hamia, who heads foreign terrorist operations, lacks the same influence and experience.

Despite the ongoing conflict with Israel, Hezbollah has not yet used its precision missiles that could cause significant damage. Instead, it has launched limited and ineffective missiles, mostly targeting areas north of the Haifa-Tiberias line. Experts attribute this to pressure from Iran, which is seeking to avoid being drawn into a large-scale regional war. Tehran hopes that the IDF will also refrain from using heavy weapons and that the conflict can be kept to localized fighting.

The United States also plays a major role in containing the conflict. Washington has sent a task force, including an aircraft carrier and cruise missile submarines, to the eastern Mediterranean to support Israel and protect the region from possible attacks by Iran. The United States has provided Israel with significant military aid, while emphasizing the need to prevent the conflict from escalating into a regional war.

Hezbollah is therefore forced to tread carefully to avoid provoking Israel into using more powerful weapons, including precision missiles, that could have a devastating effect on Lebanon. However, further escalation remains possible, and much depends on how events unfold in the coming days.

Earlier, Cursor reported on how the IDF operation in Lebanon affected Hezbollah terrorists.

Hezbollah terrorist leader Hassan Nasrallah was shocked by the precision and scale of the IDF strikes on the organization’s infrastructure.
