/ The Iraqi mixed martial arts team won a silver medal and a bronze medal today, Saturday, at the conclusion of the Asian Mixed Martial Arts Championship.
The tournament concluded in the Bahraini capital, Manama, with the participation of 200 players representing seventeen continental teams.
The player, Mikael Shukri, received the silver medal in the 66 kg weight competition, after losing to his Jordanian counterpart, Zaki Al-Kayali, in the final match, while the player, Dhu Al-Fiqar Haidar, received the bronze medal in the (57) kg weight competition.
The Iraqi team was represented in the Asian Championship by four players: Mikael Shukri Mikael, 66 kg, Mohammed Salah Mahdi, 70 kg, Dhu al-Faqar Haider, 57 kg, and Siyamand Reza, 77 kg.
