Two Bangladeshis in SA T20 auction

The authorities have released the shortlist of 200 cricketers for the SA T20 auction for the upcoming season. But only 13 people will get chance from this list. 6 franchises can buy 13 cricketers.

No Bangladeshi cricketer has got a chance in the auction before. And this time, even if you get a chance, the chances of playing are very low. This season will start on January 9 next year. At the same time, BPL will also be playing, so there is no possibility of Hasan and Saifuddin playing even if they get a chance.

This year’s edition of SA T20 clashed with several T20 events apart from BPL. Because, Australia’s Big Bash League, New Zealand’s Super Smash and UAE’s International T20 will be played at the same time.

This season, each team can have 19 cricketers in the squad. Of these, 10 are from South Africa, seven are foreigners. The remaining two will be in the rookie and wild card categories respectively.

Six franchises of the tournament have already finalized their squads. Star cricketers like Ben Stokes, Joe Root, Rashid Khan, Kane Williamson have signed up for this year’s tournament.
