MADRID, September 26 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Israeli army has launched a new bomb this Thursday against the Lebanese capital, Beirut, within the framework of an intensified campaign of airstrikes against the country since Monday, which has left more than 600 dead and several thousand.
“The Israeli army (IDF) has attacked Beirut. There will be more details soon,” the Israeli army said in a short message published on its account on the target of the air attack on the social network.
The bombing was the first that Israel has launched against Beirut since Tuesday, when it killed six people, including Ibrahim Mohamad Kobeisi, the head of its military’s missile division. Israeli forces have killed several top Hezbollah officials in the past week.
This attack against the Lebanese capital comes a day after Washington and Paris requested on Wednesday a 21-day “temporary resolution” between Israel and Hezbollah, although the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, insisted this Wednesday that he had ordered Army to continue “with all forces” operations against neighboring countries.
