During a meeting chaired by the wali of the region, governor of the province of Oued Eddahab, Lamine Benomar, in the presence of the governor of the province of Aousserd, Abderrahaman El Jaouhari, the members of the CRDH reviewed the results of the INDH projects in 2022 proposed within the framework of the 3rd phase of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH), with a view to combating precariousness, improving the income and economic integration of young people and promoting social integration.
Concerning the province of Oued Eddahab, 25 projects are scheduled for the year 2022 as part of the program relating to the support of people in precarious situations, requiring a budgetary envelope of more than 6.19 MDH, while the program to catch up on the deficit in basic infrastructure and social services focused on three projects (31,704 DH).
Financial credits estimated at more than 4.54 MDH are intended for the program linked to the improvement of income and the economic integration of young people, covering 39 projects, while the program relating to the boosting of human capital of rising generations mobilized an amount of more than 3.59 MDH.
Concerning the province of Aousserd, the members of the CRDH examined the projects relating to the program relating to “catching up on the deficit in basic social infrastructure and services” for the year 2022, for a total amount of more than 721,862 DH, the execution rate of which is 100%.
As for the program relating to “support for people in precarious situations”, it covers six projects completed 100%, requiring a budget of more than 2.25 MDH.
Regarding the program related to the boosting of human capital of rising generations, the total amount of credits allocated amounts to more than 1.72 MDH, covering maternal and child health with two projects (120,000 DH), support for schooling and the fight against school dropout (7 projects/ 660,554 DH) and support for preschool education in rural areas (7 projects/ 941,684 DH).
The members of the CRDH also approved the extension for a period of one year of the agreement relating to the Aousserd youth platform (610,000 DH) which is part of the program linked to the improvement of income and the economic integration of young people.
CRDH members also approved the development of a children’s play area at the “Al Massira Al Khadrae” preschool education unit in the center of Bir Gandouz, for a budget of 196,000 DH.
Furthermore, they approved a point relating to the upgrading of an addiction support and prevention center (137,151 DH) for the year 2022 in the province of Oued Eddahab.
In addition, they adopted two projects relating to preschool education, the first of which concerns the coverage of the play areas of the Leglate and Chouhadae primary schools (92,308 DH) and approved the amendment to the agreement relating to the management of two preschool units (232,000 DH).
