Comedian Park Sung-kwang reveals his sad feelings towards comedienne Park Ji-seon (1984-2020).
The last consultation of psychiatrist Dr. Oh Eun-young will be revealed on Channel A’s entertainment show ‘Oh Eun-young’s Golden Counseling Center’, which will air at 8:10 PM on the 26th.
‘Oh Eun-young’s Golden Counseling Center’, which first aired on September 17, 2021, garnered attention as the public became more interested in mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic.
‘Oh Eun-young’s Golden Counseling Center’, which has completely solved the worries of 273 people over 150 episodes, has prepared a ‘3rd anniversary special project’ counseling for the three disciples who have been with the show. Following the first runners for counseling, mother and daughter Park Na-rae and Ko Myung-sook, the MC group’s two-part mental counseling series is about to end.
On this day’s broadcast, actress Lee Yoon-ji and dentist Jung Han-ul will visit. When MC Jung Hyung-don asks Lee Yoon-ji and her husband how they first met, Jung Han-ul replies that they first met as a dentist and a patient.
Lee Yoon-ji, who later visited Jeong Han-ul in the hospital, said, “At that moment, I decided that I had to marry this person.” However, she confessed that she sent a text message to Jeong Han-ul, who did not understand her feelings, saying, “I’m getting married this fall.”
In response, Jeong Han-ul sent a congratulatory message back, not knowing that she was talking to him. Lee Yoon-ji mustered up her courage again and sent another text saying, “I’m really getting married in the fall,” and finally received a reply saying, “I’m planning to get married in the fall, too,” and recalled her happy past.
Next, the couple Lee Yoon-ji and Jeong Han-ul confess their worries, saying, “We are so different.” Even just looking at MBTI, Lee Yoon-ji is INFP and her husband is ESTJ, confessing their completely opposite personalities. To find out how different the couple is, Dr. Oh Eun-young conducts the ‘fishbowl drawing test.’
Dr. Oh Eun-young analyzed the square fishbowl drawn by Jeong Han-ul and said that it is characterized by a strong sense of self. On the other hand, the concave fishbowl drawn by Lee Yoon-ji points out that it is “a person who cares about what others say or is mindful of others’ feelings.” The couple was surprised and sympathized with this, it is said.
Meanwhile, the last customers of ‘Oh Eun-young’s Golden Counseling Center’ that day are his protégé Jung Hyung-don and his close friend, comedian Park Sung-kwang. MC Park Na-rae asks the question, “Two people with beautiful wives, whose wife is prettier?” to find out how close the two are. The two compliment each other’s wives as being prettier than their own, creating an unexpectedly warm bond. Then, when Park Sung-kwang says, “My wife has a pretty heart,” Jung Hyung-don gets angry and says, “Are you saying my wife has a bad personality?” proving their true chemistry.
But the warm atmosphere is short-lived, as Jung Hyung-don unexpectedly confides, “Life is not fun.” He then expresses his skepticism about life, saying, “It’s like a sailboat that gets swept away when the wind blows.” He also confesses that when he was active as a comedian, he had anxiety due to misguided fandom, such as when a fan’s mischievous prank caused him to fall on the street and have his newborn daughter snatched from his arms.
Jung Hyung-don, who has been suffering from anxiety disorder for about 20 years, revealed that after his marriage and the birth of his twin daughters, he worked hard to “do 106 recordings in 3 months and only rested for 2 days” in order to give his children the best possible things. However, he grumbles that he ended up getting hurt because he kept running forward without looking back.
Dr. Oh Eun-young, who confirmed Jung Hyung-don’s worries, analyzed that the essence of Jung Hyung-don’s anxiety is that he feels a great sense of financial responsibility as the eldest son. She continued, “Jung Hyung-don suppresses his freedom because of his sense of responsibility, but on the other hand, he longs for freedom,” explaining that he has ambivalent feelings about ‘responsibility.’
Dr. Oh Eun-young says that in order to overcome anxiety, it is most important to recognize and express anxiety, and she encourages Jung Hyung-don, saying that he is doing a good job of this. She also supports Jung Hyung-don, saying that having a celebrity speak frankly about anxiety on TV will be helpful to those who are struggling with anxiety.
Park Sung-kwang, who was listening to the previous counseling, said, “Unlike Jung Hyung-don, I can’t talk about my worries well,” and confessed his worries that he had been unable to talk about until now. Park Sung-kwang, who was originally a cheerful person, confessed that he had recently suffered from depression due to the deaths of close friends. In particular, recalling the death of the late Park Ji-sun, he sheds tears that he had been holding back, saying, “After Park Ji-sun passed away, I never really talked about my friend, and whenever I’m happy, I sometimes feel sorry.”
Dr. Oh, who was listening to Park Sung-kwang’s worries, explains that when someone precious leaves, not only does longing and regret remain, but the loss can also cause depression. He then reveals that Park Sung-kwang did not seem to have gone through a healthy mourning process. Dr. Oh generously advises Park Sung-kwang on how to ease his sadness, saying, “It would be good to share memories of that time with fellow comedians who had a precious relationship with Park Ji-sun.”
