On the way to the president? Maccabi and Hapoel Haifa in the semi-finals of the State Cup – Haifa here

by time news

The reciprocal quarterfinal of the State Cup was played this week, and both teams of Haifa qualified for the semifinals. Maccabi Haifa completed a double victory over Hapoel Hadera yesterday (Tuesday, 1/3/2022), while Hapoel Haifa recorded a second victory over Bnei Yehuda yesterday (Wednesday, 2/3/2022) and also qualified for the last four of the factory.

Maccabi Haifa 0: 1 Hapoel Hadera (0: 3 in total)

The champion hosted the guest from Sharon for a rematch after 2: 0 in the first game in Netanya. 11,746 spectators came to Sami Ofer and saw a secondary team with Roi Mishpati at the gate, Ofri Arad and Uri Dahan in defense, Mahmoud Jaber in the link and Ben Shehar in the attack. What the spectators also saw was a terribly weak game.

The first opportunity was for the visitors in blue and arrived in the 11th minute. At the end of an explosive attack, Gilad Abramov penetrated the field and kicked weakly into the hands of my lips. The Greens have suffered from a weak game and have shown similar ability to the last three league games. Their only situation in the half was recorded in extra time with a Sun Menachem shot over the goal with a corner kick.

In the 56th minute, the disappointing Ben Shehar gave way to Dean David. A minute on the field was enough for him to make a difference, and a weak game deserves an un brilliant goal. Ruby Levkovich, a Hadera goalkeeper who did not remember how a ball felt from the beginning of the game, missed a kick by Maor Levy, and David pushed from 3 meters into the net. If anyone had any concerns about the visitors’ comeback David deleted them, 1-0 green.

In the 70th minute, David hit a good situation after the level of Mavis Chibuta, and in the extra time Maor Levy missed an opportunity to score. The game ended in a weak 1-0 in favor of the Greens in a reluctant game on both sides and when everyone knew in advance who would advance to the semifinals.

The champion will return to the league on Saturday (5/3/2022) when she hosts Hapoel Nof Hagalil for the 25th round.

Hapoel Haifa 0: 1 Bnei Yehuda (0: 2 in total)

1700 people came to the Sami Ofer Stadium for the rematch between Hapoel Haifa and the Tel Aviv team from the national league. Elisha Levy’s players won 1: 0 at Bloomfield in the first game and wanted to complete the job.

In the 4th minute, Alon Turgeman kicked from an extension, but Shahar Amsalem headed in and saved the visitors. A quarter of an hour later Amsalem headed in a free kick by Matthias Liovic, after which the game fell asleep almost to the half. In the 44th minute, Matthias tripped Noam Cohen in the box and awarded a penalty to Hapoel Haifa. Alan Ozbolt approached the task and was precise. 1: 0 to Hapoel Haifa at the half.

Bnei Yehuda continued not to play in the second half, and Alon Turgeman continued to miss. He did so in the 54th minute when he kicked out of a comfortable position. Dudu Altrovich also missed Amsalem’s frame. The only threat from Bnei Yehuda, if you can even call it a threat, was a weak kick by Thomas from 20 meters into the hands of Ohad Levita in the 78th minute. 2 minutes later Amsalem tops an attempt by Saar Padida, and a minute later is the top shot by Ben Wahba.

In the end, Hapoel Haifa defeats Bnei Yehuda 2: 0 in the overall summary and qualifies for the semifinals. She will return to the league games on Sunday (6/3/2022) when she is hosted by Hapoel Beer Sheva.
