Mercedes-Benz Korea signed an official sponsorship contract with SKT T1, the e-sports team that Lee Sang-hyeok belongs to. To commemorate the signing of the team sponsorship contract, a new car was provided to Lee Sang-hyeok, the best League of Legends player in the world. A Mercedes van is also provided as a means of transportation for the team. Before Benz Korea, BMW Korea sponsored T1, and at that time, four car models, including X7, X5, X3, and X2, were provided to Lee Sang-hyeok on loan during the sponsorship period.
The AMG SL63 4Matic+ that Lee Sang-hyeok received this time was a gift from Mercedes-Benz Global Headquarters.
