Passenger on Metrobús Line 1 dies

For several minutes this morning, the service in the Line 1 of the Metrobús was interrupted due to the sudden death of one of the passengers from this public transportation system, allegedly due to cardiac arrest.

According to the information, the unfortunate incident took place around 07:30 in the morning in the “Altavista” station heading to the terminal “Green Indians”this after several users reported the sudden fainting of an older adult inside the unit.

After that, the driver of Line 1 notified the authorities, a unit of the Rescue and Medical Emergencies Squad (ERUM) to attend to this person, unfortunately when they arrived at said station, the user had already died.

The resumption of service was affected by the arrival of experts and security elements from Mexico City to carry out the corresponding investigationsso the Metrobús authorities decided to temporarily suspend the service at said station.

Once the expert services of the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City (FGJCDMX)the body of this person will be moved from the place so that relatives can claim the body and carry out the corresponding funeral work.

Until now, the identity of the deceased is unknownit was not until after 11 a.m. that the “Altavista” Metrobús station was reopened.
