Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas confirmed on Thursday that the Zionist entity has completely destroyed Gaza and is still committing crimes, calling on the international community to impose sanctions against it.
Abbas said in his speech before the United Nations General Assembly: “The Zionist entity has reoccupied the entire Gaza Strip and destroyed it almost completely, until it becomes an uninhabitable place, after most of the housing, buildings, health and educational facilities, economic facilities, roads, churches, mosques, water and electricity stations were destroyed.” Water treatment, etc.
Abbas added, “If the Zionist entity believes that it will escape accountability and punishment for these crimes, it is delusional,” calling on “the international community to immediately begin imposing sanctions on it.”
Abbas stressed, “The massacres, crimes, and genocide committed by the Zionist entity against our people since its establishment until this day will not pass without accountability, and will not be subject to the statute of limitations. Whatever right is lost, there are demands behind it.”
He continued, “Despite our urgent and repeated demands, the world has not succeeded in forcing the Zionist entity to stop its war of genocide and war crimes against the innocent civilian population,” adding, “We regret that the American administration has blocked draft Security Council resolutions three times, demanding that the Zionist entity cease fire by using them.” And on top of that, it provided him with lethal weapons that killed thousands of innocent children, women and the elderly, which encouraged the Zionist entity to continue its aggression.”
