jpnn.com – PT PLN (Persero) Central Sumatra Development Main Unit (UIP SBT) continues to improve electricity services in Riau, especially Indragiri Hulu (Inhu) and Indragiri Hilir (Inhil) Regency.
One of those efforts is to do “Energize” or the provision of the first load of the Rengat 150 kV Main Substation (GI) Bay Coupler which ran successfully, safely and smoothly by the Central Sumatra Part 1 Project Implementation Unit (UPP Sumbagteng 1) on Tuesday (24/9).
This step is part of PLN’s commitment to improve the reliability and quality of the electricity system in Riau.
With this energize, PLN can ensure a more stable and quality electricity supply for the community and industry in Inhu and Inhil Regencies.
General Manager of PLN UIP SBT I Njoman Surjana D explained that the Rengat 150 kV Main Substation Bay Coupler will strengthen the electricity network, support economic growth, investment and increase comfort for customers.
According to him, the success of Energize involved the cooperation of various PLN units, including UIP Sumbagteng, UIP3B Sumatra, UID RKR, UPP Sumbagteng 1, UPT Pekanbaru, Pusertif, as well as the implementing contractor PT Sejahtera Mulia Kencana.
This process runs well without disrupting the existing distribution system.
“All work items have been successfully completed, strengthening the distribution system through the GI Rengat 150 kV Bay Coupler is becoming more reliable,” said Njoman in his statement, Thursday (26/9).
PLN UIP SBT continues to improve Riau’s electricity, especially Indragiri Hulu and Inhil by energizing the Rengat 150 kV Main Substation (GI) Bay Coupler.
