Beijing: The Indian Embassy in Beijing has advised all Indian citizens living in China to register with the Embassy. This registration will be required for all services received from the Indian Embassy in future. An advisory issued by the Embassy said that in order to further streamline and facilitate the process of providing consular services to Indians, it is advised that all Indian citizens resident in China, including students, should register .
How to register
The advisory states that on successful submission of the registration form on the website, the registration document containing the applicant’s name, passport number and registration number will be automatically generated in downloadable PDF format and will be provided by the applicant during the process of filling the registration form. Will also be sent to the registered email ID.
Registration will be necessary for embassy services
All Indian citizens have been asked to attach registration documents with their applications for any consular services, passport renewal, document verification, police clearance certificate, birth and marriage registration.
