After a tour carried out by this means through the first square of the capital, it was confirmed that at the four intersections of the avenues around the Constitution Square They had placed concrete security barriers, these being Pino Suárez with Venustiano Carranza, 20 de Noviembre and Venustiano Carranza, 16 de Septiembre and Palma, 5 de Mayo and Palma.
The security measures are added to the metal fences placed in front of National Palace and the streets on its sides: Moneda and Corregidora where there are also dozens of elements from the Secretariat of Citizen Security, some with anti-riot equipment.
This is the first time that the government of the presidentand Andrés Manuel López Obrador takes measures prior to the marches demanding truth and justice for the 43 normalistas.
In addition, the concrete barriers are added to those that were placed in the vicinity of the Ministry of the Interior (Segob), after alleged students from several rural normal schools, in addition to Isidro Burgos – where the students enrolled 43- They threw firecrackers in said premises as well as in the Senate of the Republic.
This Thursday’s demonstration will take place within the framework of the day that marks a decade of the State crime, after the dialogue between President López Obrador and the relatives of the disappeared normalistas was concluded.
The investigation of the case has been led for almost two years by the Mexican president, who went from mentioning the Army to put the weight of the setbacks in the resolution of the case on a criminal and a journalist.
