Jaipur : A horrific road accident took place on Thursday afternoon at Gidani turn near Dudu, located on the Jaipur-Ajmer-Udaipur National Highway in Rajasthan. Three members of the same family died in this accident. The deceased include father, son and daughter while the mother of the son and daughter is seriously injured. The injured woman is undergoing treatment at Sawai Mansingh Hospital in Jaipur. All three deceased were originally residents of Jharkhand. The bodies of all three are kept in the SMS mortuary. Post mortem will be done after the arrival of family members. Uncontrollable tanker breaks divider and hits car
Dudu Deputy SP Deepak Khandelwal said that an empty tanker supplying milk was going from Jaipur towards Ajmer. The tanker was at high speed and the driver lost control. The tanker traveling at high speed broke the divider and collided with the car coming from the front. The car was moving in the right direction from Ajmer towards Jaipur when it was hit hard by the tanker. A total of 5 people including the driver were traveling in the car during the accident. Four people including the driver died in the accident while a woman was seriously injured.
The family resident of Jharkhand had come to visit Rajasthan.
Dudu police station in-charge Sanjay Meena said that the deceased include 65-year-old Satyendra Sharma, his son 39-year-old Gaurav Sharma, daughter 25-year-old Ankita Sharma and car driver 51-year-old Jeet Bahadur Sharma, resident of Pratap Nagar, Jaipur. Deceased Satyendra Sharma was originally a resident of Ranchi, Jharkhand. His son lived in Bangalore. About one and a half months ago, Satyendra and his wife Geeta had also shifted to Bangalore with their daughter Ankita to be with their son. Came to Rajasthan 5 days ago to visit. Two days ago he had gone to Ajmer from Jaipur. While returning, the tanker collided, killing Satyendra Sharma, his son and daughter.
