On Saturday, September 28th at 11:25 am, EBS1TV will broadcast the episode of Sharing 0700 – The Young Head Who Protects Her Grandmother, 17-Year-Old Shinbi.

17-year-old SinB has someone she must protect.

17-year-old Shinbi was raised by her grandmother (60) from the age of 2 after her mother and father separated. The grandmother, who became her granddaughter’s only guardian, took care of Sinbi with utmost sincerity and raised her with love despite her difficult circumstances. There are times when I cry when I think of the past days when I used towels instead of diapers and didn’t hesitate to work as a housekeeper and restaurant worker, but now I am just grateful when I see Shinbi growing up bright and well.

However, it is said that the grandmother’s health has recently deteriorated. She spends a lot of time lying down and is unable to move around without a wheelchair. Sinbi takes care of the housework on behalf of her sick grandmother and takes care of her every day just as her grandmother raised her. Sinbi has now become her grandmother’s guardian. Although she is still young, she is busy every day worrying about her grandmother and hospital bills.

I found out about my grandmother’s unknown pain and tremors…

My grandmother has suffered from diabetes for 20 years, and her complications have worsened, including blurred vision. Moreover, since a year ago, I have been suffering from unexplained pain and tremors to the extent that it is difficult to drink a glass of water. Despite this inconvenience and pain, she was unable to receive a hospital examination due to the cost, but upon the recommendation of the production crew, the results showed that the grandmother’s condition was serious. The rotator cuff that moves the shoulder was torn, requiring immediate repair surgery, and the cause of the tremors was diagnosed as Parkinson’s disease. A disease that causes damage to nerve cells and abnormalities in brain function. It is a scary disease that causes the body to become increasingly stiff, but the grandmother says that treatment has already been delayed and her condition has worsened. Parkinson’s disease itself is dangerous, but treatment is urgent because other complications such as sepsis and pneumonia can occur. Living expenses are not enough, and both the grandmother and SinB are in a situation where they have to pay for hospital expenses.

Please send your love so that Mybi does not collapse in front of the daunting reality.

Recently, Shinbi is learning hairdressing at an academy with government support. He said he started it because he wanted to get a job as soon as possible, have a stable job, and be of help to his grandmother. When I’m not going to school, I work at a restaurant on weekdays and weekends to help make a living. Moreover, even though I was busy, I prepared for the qualification exam in my spare time and proudly received my high school qualification certificate at the age of 17. My grandmother has nothing but affection for Sinbi, who grew up well on her own despite difficult circumstances. However, the grandmother is worried that her young granddaughter is living a difficult life because of her illness. We ask for your interest and love so that the grandmother’s hospital bills can be resolved and SinB can move toward her dreams without being held back by reality.
