jpnn.com – This Monthly Film Festival Workshop (Fesbul) was held in the city of Padang.
Carrying the theme Passion, Roots, Movement, this workshop was held on 20-22 September 2024 in the city of Padang.
This Fesbul workshop event aims to facilitate and develop the network of filmmakers in Indonesia, especially in the Locus 9 region of Aceh, North Sumatra, Riau Islands, South Sumatra and West Sumatra with support from the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf).
Approximately 20 participants attended and had a golden opportunity to explore the techniques and tricks of film from various points of view.
In this Workshop at Lokus 9, the focus is on discussing screenwriting, directing and film production.
All of this was directly guided by expert mentors in their fields such as producing with John Badalu, script writing with Mohammad Reza Fahriyansyah, and directing with Andrea Nirmala.
The Fesbul Film Workshop lasts for 3 days. On the first day, it was opened by Mr. Yudi Indra Syani as Head of the Padang City Tourism Office and continued by Mr. Imam Wuryanto as Coordinator of Film, Animation, Video and Photography.
Then the participants continued with the opportunity to convey their story ideas, followed by a presentation of material from the mentors to provide insight into film production.
