A delegation of “Young Global Leaders” from the World Economic Forum on a discovery and prospecting visit to Morocco

Organized under the auspices of the WEF, the YGL learning journey in Morocco is an immersive experience involving “Young Global Leaders” from 11 countries including Saudi Arabia, Argentina, China, the United States, Georgia , India, Jordan, Mongolia, Pakistan, Palestine and Switzerland, indicates the “Forum of Young Global Leaders” of the WEF in a press release.

The objective of this visit is to explore the Kingdom’s advances in strategic areas such as innovation, technology, food security, finance, agriculture, infrastructure and logistics, adds the same source.

Opinion leaders and heads of public and private institutions, participants in the first YGL learning journey in Morocco will have the opportunity to interact with leaders of leading Moroccan institutions such as the OCP group, the CDG group, Casablanca Finance City, the Tanger Med Port complex and the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P).

The delegation will also be received by the Minister of Economy and Finance, the Minister of Industry and Trade and the Minister Delegate in charge of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies.

The meetings and working sessions will be punctuated by tourist visits and social activities, to discover the beauty of the landscapes, the strength of traditions and the nobility of Morocco’s ancestral know-how. It will also be an opportunity to appreciate the values ​​of tolerance and the sense of living together which characterize the Kingdom.

This initiative comes a few months after the executive training module provided for the benefit of members of the same community, as part of a strategic partnership between the FEM and the UM6P. It will contribute to the influence of Morocco and the consolidation of its image as a nation of values, openness and progress on a global scale.
