The former Mayor of Solo explained that the idea of ​​moving the National Capital was planned during the era of President Soekarno.

However, the idea emerged again in 2014 after he was inaugurated as president.

After going through several studies, there are three cities that are options for moving the capital, one of which is North Penajam Paser, East Kalimantan.

After the decision to choose East Kalimantan as the capital, he then conveyed the idea to the DPR.
