According to the Global Security Report published by the Gallup consultancy, El Salvador is one of the safest countries, surpassing Switzerland and Lexemburg.

According to the report, it stands out that around 88% of Salvadorans feel safe when traveling their streets; the Central American country has even surpassed Ecuador or Colombia in terms of safety.

“Currently, El Salvador has one of the lowest homicide rates in the Western Hemisphere.”” the report details.
