The lifeless body of a young Burkinabe national was discovered this Thursday, September 26, 2024 in Didi, a sub-prefecture located 75 km from the Siguiri prefecture.
“He fell on a stone, he is a gold miner and he is from Burkina Faso,” said Moussa Camara, a gold miner and acquaintance of the victim.
Asked about the circumstances of this macabre discovery, Dr Abdoulaye Bachirou Condé, medical lieutenant of the high command of the national gendarmerie, directorate of military justice, serving at the Siguiri prefectural hospital, spoke in these terms:
“We are here today in Didi on the instructions of the Siguiri prosecutor. He fell on a stone, it was this illness which was fatal to him. So his diagnosis was closed toraxe trauma. What we can say about his death is that it was a natural death probably linked to hemorrhagic shock,” he explains.
The victim is Golesso Moussa, aged around twenty, originally from Burkina Faso, single without children and a professional gold miner.
On the instructions of the public prosecutor at the court of first instance of Siguiri, Ibrahima 1 Camara, the body was made available to his family for burial.
