With Sacha Boey, Hiroki Itō, Manuel Neuer and Josip Stanišić, FC Bayern are missing four important players before the top Bundesliga game against Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday. While Neuer could return to goal, Stanišić definitely won’t be available. The full-back with a Leverkusen past suffered a torn outer ligament in his knee.

Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer is still questionable for the top game against defending champions Bayer Leverkusen. Coach Vincent Kompany announced this before the game on Saturday (6.30 p.m., in the live ticker on t-online). The 38-year-old recently missed the league game at Werder Bremen due to thigh problems.
“Manu is training at the moment, but we will make the final decision tomorrow. The important thing is that nothing changes to the Werder squad. Hopefully everyone is there and we can choose the best team for the game,” Kompany said on Friday. According to t-online information, Neuer has overcome his complaints and is ready to play against Leverkusen.
Neuer initially warmed up in the Weserstadion, but was then replaced by Sven Ulreich. He was substituted at half-time in the 9-2 win in the Champions League against Dinamo Zagreb.
Hiroki Itō has returned to the FC Bayern training ground for the first time since breaking his metatarsal. The summer newcomer from VfB Stuttgart completed an individual running session on Friday at the club’s facility on Säbener Straße.
