The board of directors of listed travel and leisure company Unique Hotels & Resorts Plc has declared a 16 percent dividend to shareholders. Its all cash dividends. Shareholders will get a cash dividend of Rs 1.60 against each share worth Rs 10.
This dividend has been declared for the shareholders after reviewing the audited financial report for the financial year ended June 30, 2024.
On Thursday (26 September) Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE-CSE) said this information.
The dividend decision was taken after reviewing and approving the last year’s audited financial report at the company’s board meeting held earlier on Wednesday (September 18).
According to the information, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the company will be held on December 19 at 10:30 am on digital platform to approve the declared dividend by consent of the shareholders. And the record date for distribution of declared dividend to shareholders has been fixed on 20 October.
The company’s earnings per share (EPS) for the financial year ended June 30, 2024 stood at Tk 5.14. The company’s profit per share was Rs 6.42 in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
Meanwhile, the company’s net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) for the financial year ended at Rs 6.47. The company’s profit per share was Rs 5.13 in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
The company’s consolidated net asset value per share (NAVPS) stood at Tk 88.75 during the reporting period.
The Board of Directors of Unique Hotels & Resorts Plc had declared 20 percent cash dividend to the shareholders in the previous financial year.
