/ On Friday, the Iraqi youth team (under 17 years old) will meet its Omani counterpart, in an important and decisive match to reserve the second qualification ticket from the first group of the West Asian Championship.
Today’s match will be held at seven o’clock in the evening at Al Saada Stadium in the Salalah Complex in the Sultanate of Oman.
The Iraqi youth team was able to win over its Lebanese counterpart, 3-0, in its second match in the tournament, while it failed in its first test in the tournament after losing to its Yemeni counterpart, 2-1.
The Sultanate of Oman will host the tournament from December 11 to 20, with the participation of 8 teams: Oman, the host, Yemen, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, and the Emirates.
