jpnn.comJAKARTA – Chairman of the PDI Perjuangan DPP for Honorary Affairs, Komarudin Watubun, said that changing the elected DPR RI legislative candidate from Dapil I Banten from Tia Rahmania to Bonnie Triyana was actually an internal party process.

It is known that Tia and Bonnie are DPR RI legislative candidates from the PDI Perjuangan who are contesting in the Electoral District I Banten in the 2024 election.

“Actually, this is a normal problem in the party’s internal processes,” said Komarudin to media crew, Thursday (26/9).

The DPR RI Commission II legislator denied the narrative that said the change in DPR RI candidates elected for Electoral District I Banten was due to Tia being critical of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

“I see in the media that it is being distorted, as if because she (Tia, ed.) was critical of the KPK’s question, there was no connection. So, it has to be straightened out, OK,” he said.

Komar, Komarudin’s nickname, said that the replacement of the elected DPR RI legislative candidates stems from a dispute over the results of the 2024 Legislative Election.

Tia, who received the highest number of votes in Dapil I Banten, was sued by her party colleague from PDI Perjuangan, Bonnie Triyana, for alleged vote shifting.

Komar said that the PDI Perjuangan regulations stated that internal disputes were resolved by the Party Court.
