The category of 28 companies listed in the capital market has been changed. Shares of companies started trading in ‘Z’ category from Thursday (September 26).

28 companies started trading in ‘Z’ category

This information is known from Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE-CSE) sources.

The companies are Associated Oxygen, Olympic Accessories, Western Marine Shipyard, National Tubes, Indobangla Pharma, Fur Chemical, Miracle Industries, GSP Finance, Anlima Yarn, National Bank, BD Thai, Central Pharma, Phoenix Finance, Fortune Suze, Pacific Denims, Khulna Printing, Advent Pharma, Desh Garments, Beach Hatchery, Atlas Bangladesh, Bay Leasing, Libra Infusion, Lube-Ref BD, SK Trims, Shepherd Industries, Union Insurance, VFS Threads Dyeing and Energypack.

Companies have been shifted from ‘A’ and ‘B’ category to ‘Z’ category. The companies have been transferred to the ‘Z’ category for trading with the approval of the capital market regulatory body Bangladesh Securities Exchange Commission (BSEC). Brokerage houses have been directed to refrain from giving any credit facilities to stock brokers and merchant banks to the company, which has undergone a category change, from September 26.
