The documentary exhibition on “History, Citizen Autonomy” inaugurated in Capo d’Orlando. Railway Station” also accompanied by the presentation of three newly issued postcards.

The initiative, organized by the local section of the Archeoclub d’Italia, directed by Professor Carmelo Caccia, will remain open until Tuesday 1st October and is part of the historical tale of the first hundred years of autonomy of the city.

It is also possible to view, within the exhibition, 15 publications of great historical interest on the social and cultural life of Capo d’Orlando.

The newly issued postcards were made with photos from 1907 and with a drawing dating back to 1920. They were made available by private individuals and depict the current Piazza Matteotti, once called Pizza Fontana, and the railway station.
