The House of Representatives unanimously adopts an organic law relating to appointment to high offices
Rabat – The House of Representatives unanimously adopted, during a session held on Monday, the draft organic law n° 30.24 modifying and supplementing the organic law n° 02.12 relating to the appointment to high functions in application of the provisions of articles 49 and 92 of the Constitution.
Introducing this text, the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, Ghita Mezzour, explained that this project aims to modify and complete the list of strategic public establishments and enterprises and the list high functions provided for in organic law n°02.12.
Ms. Mezzour underlined that the organic bill plans to include certain establishments on the list of strategic public establishments whose managers are appointed by the Council of Ministers, namely the Grand Atlas Development Agency, the National Development Agency. social assistance, the High Health Authority, territorial health groups, the Moroccan Agency for Medicines and Health Products and the Moroccan Agency for Blood and its Derivatives.
She added that, according to this project, the Higher Institute of the Judiciary, reorganized in accordance with Law No. 37.22 of August 10, 2023, will be removed from the list of strategic public establishments, while the position of “President of the General Council of agricultural development” will be added to the list of high functions of public administrations provided for in organic law no. 02.12 and which are appointed in the Government Council.
