jpnn.comJAKARTA – Chairman of the PDI Perjuangan DPP for Honorary Affairs, Komarudin Watubun, said that Tia Rahmania was proven to have shifted votes so she was fired as a cadre of the political party with the white-snouted bull symbol.
“In the examination at the Court, it was proven that there had been a shift in votes,” said Komar, Komarudin Watubun’s nickname, Thursday (26/9).
It is known that Tia shifted her vote to become the DPR RI legislative candidate with the highest results and thus qualified as a legislator from Electoral District (Dapil) I Banten.
Tia was then sued by her political party colleague in Dapil I Banten, Bonnie Triyana, at the PDI-P Party Court.
Apart from Tia, another PDI Perjuangan cadre, Rahmad Handoyo, was also sued at the Party Court by Didik Hariyadi.
After that, the PDI Perjuangan Party Court through an internal hearing considered that Tia and Rahmad had indeed shifted their votes.
“Essentially, because this was the most votes cast, they shifted their votes to meet the requirements so that they would have the most votes,” said Komar.
He said that the act of shifting votes ultimately disadvantaged Tia and Rahmad’s colleagues in the same electoral district in the 2024 legislative election.
