Ukrainian Interior Minister Igor Klymenko announced that six people were killed in two consecutive attacks on a medical center in the northeastern city of Sumy since this morning, Reuters reported.
“The first attack killed one person and damaged the ceilings of several floors of the hospital. The evacuation of patients and team has begun,” said Klimenko on the Telegram social network. He added that during the evacuation, the Russian forces launched a second strike that killed two more people.
Meanwhile, according to a statement by the Ukrainian Air Force, the country’s air defenses shot down 69 of the total 73 Russian drones launched during last night’s Russian attack on the country, BTA reported.
