FAJAR.CO.ID, MAKASSAR — The implementation of the 2024 Taka Bonerate Festival and Dive Camp which will be held 6 -12 October 2024 has received support from various parties, including the Acting Governor of South Sulawesi, Prof. Zudan Arif Fakrulloh.
This annual event organized by the Selayar Islands Regency Government will be held not only in Benteng City, but also in Jinato Village.
“We support this extraordinary activity. Thank you for meeting us to report on the implementation of Takabonerate activities in the second week of October,” said Prof Zudan when receiving an audience from the Deputy Regent of Selayar Syaiful Arif and Assistant II for the Economy and Development of Selayar Arfang Arif.
Prof. Zudan was accompanied by the Head of the South Sulawesi Transportation Service and the Head of the South Sulawesi Culture and Tourism Service to ensure the Provincial Government’s support to make this event a success. The meeting took place at the Office of the Office on Friday, September 27 2024.
At this meeting, the progress of the Provincial Government’s subsidy plan for flights to Selayar and the benefits of Trans Sulsel were also discussed.
The Deputy Regent of the Selayar Islands, Syaiful Arif, also emphasized that the visit to the Governor’s Rujab was aimed at deepening plans for the event. Apart from that, this festival will collaborate with the 2024 Sovereign Rupiah Expedition (ERB) as a form of synergy between Bank Indonesia and the Indonesian Navy.
“I received permission to submit this invitation letter to the provincial level Forkopimda. So this festival has a maritime, tourism and MSME empowerment nuance as well. We want to promote it more widely. “We are very grateful,” he explained.
