Author of a total of 46 points, the Russian won ahead of the Spaniards Fernandes Alberto (45 points) and Garcia Juan with 35 points, during this prestigious competition organized by the Royal Moroccan Federation of Sport Shooting (FRMTS), from January 28 to February 6 at the Club les Chênes de Tir et de Loisirs in Elarjat (suburb of Salé).
Moroccan shooter Driss Al Hafari ranked 6th with 20 points.
In a statement to MAP, Kapetsky Maxime expressed his joy for this coronation after strong competition with international champions of this discipline, praising the organization and the conditions in which this event took place.
Among the ladies, the 2nd step of the podium went to the Spaniard Martinez Beatrez with 37 points, followed by the Russian Simianova Darya (29 points). Moroccan Yassmine Mrighi ranked 6th with 14 points.
In a similar statement, Russian Sipotina Ikatrina expressed her satisfaction with her coronation, emphasizing the strong competitiveness between the participants.
This sporting event took place in the presence of the deputy president of the Royal Moroccan Shooting Sports Federation, Abdeladim Lhafi, the president of the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF), Vladimir Lisin, the secretary general of the ISSF, Alexander Gunther and the president of the African Shooting Sports Confederation, Hazem Hosni.
This edition, organized by the FRMTS in collaboration with the ISSF, sees the participation of more than 100 shooters, including 72 representing 14 countries from four continents (Africa, Europe, Asia and Latin America), in the Trap and Skeet.
The athletes participating in this competition represent the best shooters in the world, including champions who have won medals at the Olympic Games, World Championships and World Cup.
This competition will continue on Friday with the mixed trap final.
