/ The Zakho and Degla University teams achieved victory over their rivals, on Thursday, in the Iraqi Premier Basketball League.
Zakho was able to defeat Al-Kahraba Club with a score of 82-80, and the original time of the match ended in a draw, and after extending an additional period, Zakho was able to decide the match in his favor by two points.
While Degla Al-Jameaa Club defeated Naft Al-Shamal by a margin of 14 points and a score of 70-56 points.
On the other hand, the head of the Iraqi Basketball Federation, Hussein Al-Ameedi, told Agency that the federation decided today to postpone the previously announced meeting of the federation’s general body.
He stated that the postponement came at the request of the majority of the members of the General Assembly, as they were busy with the New Year holidays and traveling outside Iraq.
